Party In My Hotel Room

Francis Bacon has been rumoured to have created his greatest work when he was drunk or high. (I call him Frank when I am drunk).

One Glass With Dinner, The Other in my Room

To be Frank I am a 'cheap date'; it takes just one glass of wine to get me tipsy as I hardly ever drink. I have been told by my lecturer to take photos of my studio; at present, for 4 days of the week, it is my hotel room. (No carpets were damaged in the completion of this work!)

The party doesn't start until I walk in! Alone, I invite into my socially isolated hotel room, my friends and family. They form a virtual queue, if your name is not on the list you are not getting in!

Party

A social gathering of invited guests, typically involving eating, drinking, and entertainment.

Origin

Middle English (in the sense ‘particoloured’): from Old French parti ‘parted’, based on Latin partitus ‘divided into parts’ (from the verb partiri ). A formally constituted political group that contests elections and attempts to form or take part in a government.
